The school campus recently resonated with devotion and joy as we came together to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. At Kidz Shaishav, festivals are more than just rituals; they are vibrant opportunities for our students to connect with their culture and learn timeless values.
A Heart-Touching Performance
The highlight of the celebration was a beautiful role-play presented by our talented students. They brought to life one of the most touching stories from Indian mythology: The friendship of Shri Krishna and Sudama.
Dressed in vibrant traditional costumes, the students transported the audience back to the era of Dwarka. They enacted the emotional moment when the humble Sudama visited Krishna’s grand palace. The scene where Lord Krishna, disregarding all royal protocols, warmly embraces his childhood friend left everyone moved.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
The students performed their roles with remarkable confidence, expression, and enthusiasm. Their graceful acting and deep understanding of the characters made the presentation truly memorable.
But this event was about more than just acting. Through this performance, our students internalized essential life lessons:
True Friendship: Understanding that bonds of love go beyond wealth and status.
Respect & Humility: Learning to treat everyone with dignity, just as Krishna treated Sudama.
Confidence Building: Stepping onto the stage helped them sharpen their public speaking and communication skills.
Our Commitment to Holistic Growth
Our school continuously arranges such cultural and value-based events to help students learn through practical experiences. We believe that moral values like love, respect, and teamwork cannot be taught from textbooks alone—they must be experienced.
These activities provide meaningful lessons that stay with our students for life, shaping them into emotionally intelligent and culturally rooted individuals.
